Getting started
Where do I start?
Sign in, select your business and check its contact details. Then add a customer and create your first receipt.
How do I switch businesses?
Open Businesses and select the business you want to work with. Check the active business name in the sidebar before creating a document. This action depends on your permissions.
Why are some menus missing?
Access depends on your role. If an action is unavailable, contact the person managing your account or team.
Receipts and payments
How do I create a receipt?
Create a receipt, choose the customer, date and currency, then add lines with a description, quantity and price. Check the amounts and save as Draft if the document is still being prepared.
How do I record a partial payment?
Enter the amount actually received in Amount paid. The remaining balance is calculated from the total. A finalised sale can remain Sent until it is fully paid.
What do Draft, Sent and Paid mean?
Draft means preparation. Sent means a finalised sale, even if payment is partial or still due. Paid means the sale has been settled. Payment and stock tracking are separate.
Catalogue and stock
How do I reuse a product or service?
Create its entry in Catalogue with its name and price. In the receipt, click Add from catalogue to fill a line. You can still enter a line manually.
Does editing a line change the catalogue?
No. You can edit the name or description and price copied into the receipt without changing the catalogue entry. To change that entry, open Catalogue.
When does stock decrease?
For a product with tracking enabled, stock is deducted when the receipt becomes Sent or goes directly to Paid. Switching from Sent to Paid, or Paid to Sent, does not deduct it again. Returning to Draft or deleting the receipt restores previously deducted quantities. Services and manual lines do not track stock.
